Future of HR Award 2020

SAMUELS GROUP was named a finalist for the Best Use of Technology in the 6th Future of HR Awards 2020

CAPE TOWN, 25 November 2020 -Samuels Group was announced that they had been selected as a finalist for this year’s Future of HR Awards.

Samuels was honoured to be a finalist for this award. And grateful for the recognition of our hard work and innovative thinking, especially during this global pandemic.

The Future of HR Awards celebrates candidates who represent the best in the Human Resources Management (HR) profession in South Africa. In response to the global pandemic, the awards have become a virtual event. The virtual summit brings together industry leaders to recognise individuals, teams and organisations for their outstanding achievements in people management by showcasing strategies and practices that deliver direct impact on business performance and innovations that set new standards for the industry.

“The pandemic has altered the way we work, and an innovative approach to technology, systems and management of human capital has become more important than ever. That is why we believe it is imperative to recognise the companies and individuals such as African Biomass Company who are transforming HR and enacting meaningful change,” explains Topco Media CEO, Ralf Fletcher.

We encourage every professional and organisation to put forward their success stories in the field of HR. Share your story to marketing@futureofhr.co.za.

Vision Awards 2030

Eye-Fuel wins Vision 2030 Energy Award!

National Development Plan Leaders

The annual Vision 2030 Awards honour the achievements and share the success stories of organisations, enterprises and individuals that actively demonstrate alignment to the South African government’s Nine-Point Plan to boost economic growth and achieve the milestones set by the National Development Plan (NDP).
The Vision 2030 gala ceremony announced the 2019 winners on 20 November at Emperors Palace, Ekurhuleni, Gauteng, South Africa.

Samuels Group was announced the winner for our Eye-Fuel on road management system in the Energy category of the Vision Awards.
Our solution to the on road fuel problem came naturally from our teams ability to listen to our customers.
We spent a lot of time unpacking and understanding the on road problem statement.

Samuels Group would like to thank our staff and management for believing in what we do. We will make sure that this award is a catalyst for our future growth. We will also ensure that we work hard to make a little difference in the lives of ordinary South Africans.

The Vision 2030 Awards encourages the realisation of the NDP through national collaboration and recognises key figures that actively expand progress and make headway in achieving the NDP.
With contributors from every sector, the nation’s premiere platform for addressing the NDP saw private sectors; public sectors and civil society organisations join hands in building a national community working to drive economic acceleration and transformation.

Leading by example, the winners, showcased through their Awards, inspire their peers and all stakeholders nationwide to pledge commitment to the NDP – not in words alone but in actions that move the nation forward.
